100 Best Romantic Resorts of the World, 5th (100 Best Series) ReviewThe biggest thing I had to do to for our wedding (besides show up) was to plan our honeymoon. This book was the only resource I could find that didn't just list the "if-money-were-no-object" type of resorts. It also listed amazing hard-to-find places that actually fit our budget. T.I. Cruiser's Guide To Booking A Cruise ReviewI know from my mother's experience how easy it is to get ripped off when you purchase a cruise trip. When she went on a Caribbean cruise, she learned from other travelers that she paid almost TWICE as much as they did for exactly the same trip. Apparently it's all to do with which sites you book through, and the other travel costs involved (like getting to the cruise port, hotels, etc). So with my mother's experience in mind, I bought this guide ahead of booking my own cruise.
This book recommends cost-saving ways for the do-it-yourself traveler. It suggests the best sites to book from, and even offers ways of saving money once you're on the ship. We're still debating on which cruise to choose, but I've checked the recommended sites against others and the cost savings on the two cruises we're considering are significant. So, for the small investment of this book, I'll be saving hundreds on the price of a cruise. Result!T.I. Do yourself a favor, and spend 5 minutes on a Google search. You will have then done more research than this author and will have vastly more helpful tips for travel into Costa Rica. After a week here in Costa Rica, my middle school child could write a better guide and give you more useful tips. I'm not exaggerating.
