Spin Cycle Stop: A Practical Handbook on Domestic Violence Awareness. ReviewWhen I first picked up this book, I wasn't sure what to expect. What I found was a thought-provoking glimpse into the world of a person who is living with domestic abuse. I have always had so many questions about why a victim would stay with a man who is abusive...why doesn't she just leave? The information here does a great job of answering that question, and many more. I would recommend this book to anyone who is searching for answers about an abusive relationship - whether your own, or if someone you love is struggling. I learned so much, and have a better understanding of how I might support a victim who is trying to become a survivor.
