The Tiger Woods Syndrome: Why Men Prowl and How to Not Become the Prey ReviewThis book does a great job at showing the 200 year context of how the US (and to a large extent, the Western World) got itself into the unstable and unsatisfying relationship messes so many of us find ourselves in.
It turns out, many, if not most of us are basing our choice of marriage partners way too heavily on sexual attraction. It shows how this has been promoted in TV, books, and music over the last 100 years. It also shows the many subtle and indisious ways in which pop culture encourages men to be dishonest.
Does a great of showing how not to get ourselves into this trap.
The only criticism I have of the book is that it does a lousy job at giving people good information about how to find a compatible partner.
