Brushed Cotton Twill Crusher Hat - Groom ReviewI just reviewed the groom's crusher hat, so I will repeat it if you didn't get a chance to see that review. This hat was cute and I got both of them as a surprise for my groom for our Maui wedding. I thought that they would look cute on the beach. The problem is, they were a bit big and floppier than we would have preferred. The label inside says not to machine wash, not to wring when handwashing and to shape the hat and let it air dry. Do NOT listen to that. This is denim and can handle the machine and dryer abuse. We took pictures on the beach the last day of our Maui trip in these hats and they were very cute - yes, even though they were big on us. They got wet and some sand on them, so I made a judgement call that I should have done before our trip. I threw them in the washer and dryer and they now fit (after the fact) and look great. I would wash and dry them first if they are too big on you. If they are slightly big, just dry them on a medium heat. I think you will love them once you make them not so Gilligan's Island looking by washing & drying them first.
